Hidden Applications in iPhone ROM

Some hacker while ferreting through the iPhone firmware found a few undocumented programs lurking unassigned and hidden.

com.apple.widget.phonebook
com.apple.widget.translation
com.apple.widget.worldclock
com.apple.mobile.radio
Could these functions have been scrapped at the last minute due to bugs, or will they be tie-ins to 10.5?
Man addressbook sure would be nice to have rather than dig for it in the phone application.
They should just unlock everything. Jesus.
