Dell has stuck a teaser on YouTube that is aimed to promote their upcoming tablet PC’s. In the video they saw an existing competitors model in half and throw it in the trash. Now, I have to say that is kinda gutsy on Dell’s behalf, I can just imagine what the competition (or customers) will do to Dell’s model once it launches.

  1. Uhh . . . it looks like it would fit in the trash without being sawed in half. Also, I am not at all frustrated by my 3-year-old tablet (well it’s starting to develop some hairline fractures, but I’m tough on it). I used to read the Tablet enthusiast forums for a while and didn’t really see that much complaining—it was more about learning to do cool stuff/finding games that are 10x easier with a tablet (Zuma), etc. Maybe I was on the wrong site or things have changed . . . . Anyway, here’s hoping Dell actually does have a substantial improvement in the works and this isn’t just some bogus “ours will be better because it has an extra 0.2GHz” claim.

Hm. Odd, isn’t it? Dell using GarageBand loops?
