Track and Forecast Gas Usage

Awhile ago, we posted how the EPA was restating all the MPG ratings for every car ever manufactured. But these numbers don’t represent the MPG that YOUR car gets. The service My Mile Marker aims to help you understand your own personal fuel usage.
With MyMileMarker.com (MMM) you will be able to get up to the minute MPG ratings as well as live projections on how much money you will spend on gas in a year. Information is loaded by direct input from the MMM website, a direct Twitter message, or via MMM’s mobile website.
But be warned as helpful as MMM can be in their EULA, they reserve the right to resell your anonymous data.
It’s a web site… it won’t destroy your computer. We’ll take your data and store it, but if we lose it, we’re sorry. We’ll probably sell aggregate data (but not your name or email address) to advertisers. We reserve the right to charge for this at some point. These terms might change in the future, but if they do, we’ll let you know. Cool?
All in all, the service could but an end of me making notes on the back of gas pump receipts that I always lose and might actually provide a useful solution to track how I use my car.
