Call me when Mythtv can record encrypted cable content, and when I can buy one in a HTPC case, already built, that comes with a remote, that updates itself when needed, and works perfectly when I plug it in, the very first time. Oh, and it shouldn't cost more than a Tivo. Then I'll consider switching. I really wish I could go the Mythtv route, but it's just not there for anyone except very hardcore linux geeks.
