I love classic games, and classic controllers even more. With these USB enabled NES and SNES paddles you can now really enjoy playing emulated games the way they were meant to be played.

Fully compatible with a PC or Mac, you can snap up the NES version for $33, while the SNES version is $35.

these seem to be even better (if you’re like me and already have the controllers to the real consoles laying around)

I would be all over the NES if it was $19.99; but I think over $40 counting shipping and all is a little steep.

think of these as Surf Boards… sure their isn’t much there, but for the most part it’s shaped by hand. You see after a bit of research I found out that each of these is made by 1 dude by hand from an original NES controller using a custom com board he built and programmed which is why it’s plug and play without configuration.

    it’s pretty cool.

For a while I was using an SNES controller plugged directly into my computer’s parallel port for my gaming needs (you can probably find instructions for how to do this from Google). You’d be surprised how quick and simple that hack was. Of course, nowadays I use my Classic Controller (for Wii). All you need to get that running is a Bluetooth adapter for your PC and some free software. You get the same effect as having a classic SNES controller plus a couple analog sticks and extra buttons. I even use it for modern PC games. The whole thing would probably cost around the same as one of those USB controllers. But you do lose a bit of the nostalgia factor.

I used an old usb keyboard from a charity shop and and NES controller. Took about a day and $5 in parts.
