The Sidekick Zante / Q900 / Slide is due sometime in October with the Danger OS everyone has come to love. For connectivity it will use the extremely slow and painful EDGE network (by T-Mobile of course!), 128MB of internal Flash storage (or up to 2GB with a MiniSD card), MP3, WAV, AAC and WMA support, 1.3 MegaPixel camera, Push Email, SMS, MMS and IM

Estimated retail price is $269 which is kinda nice for this shinny toy.

Is it shinny in that it’s about as awesome as a kick in the shins?

still the best phone OS on the market my opinion also locked down, but atleast expandable via danger software catalog… even beats out the JesusPhone. When it comes to speed, multitasking, IM, web, and email that phone (or the OS rather) is way ahead of the competitors IMO. Now if the thing wasn’t so f’ing huge.

the ability to be in your email hit ctrl+M and be in IM tab through convos then ctrl+b back to your browser and ctrl+e back to your emails is hands down the most fluid and fast paced interface I’ve seen to date… I hated windows mobile, and palm OS pissed me off too (hence me going back to the SKIII like 3 times in the past year) the iPhone does indeed improve on interface and usability but the Danger OS STILL reigns supreme.

and now that I’ve said that 4 times… i am done… thing looks cool, interesting to see Motorola slap it’s name on it, hope it’s thinner than it’s predocessors.

PS anyone wants a SKIII on the cheap email and I’ll send ya one.
