Another handy use for this sir T D would be to MAKE SURE your batteries are dead. It’s little known but if you toss some batteries in the trash can, and they land on some old steal wool (and suppossedly wet aluminum foil, due to the acid chemical reaction) that it will ignite a small fire, which would eventually burn down your house in some cases.
