MicroSD hits 8GB

Sporting 7.5GB more storage space then my first computer, SanDisk has introduced an 6GB and 8GB MicroSD card. This fingernail sized device will enable you to never have to delete any file off of your mobile phone. No word yet on pricing or availability.

    apart from, of course, if you have a new phone with a high res camera and a large music library.

    Hmm, Sean has a pretty valid point, there. A phone with an mp3 player has plenty of use for all 8gb of that space, seeing that I often lament the small capacity of my 30gb iPod.

    2gb one are only $20-30. I bet these are around $75-100. Maybe higher for the first couple of months.
