Wii Will Let you Go Homebrew

According to Newsweek (and Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president) there will be a new channel called WiiWare available soon on Wii’s everywhere. This channel will feature downloadable software designed by indie developers that will hopefully extend the variety of quality games that Nintendo offers. The channel will be priced (in Wii Points) and checked for bugs by Nintendo, but they would not modify the content.
