Vispa is a small free Windows utility that lets you make changes to the way Windows Vista behaves without a dreaded trip to the registry.
Through the application you can enable “fast shutdown,” change system appearances, disable error-reporting, automatic updates, and as well as having Vista call home. The feature set goes on, but remember that all changes have the potential to make your system unstable and only make modifications to features you are familiar with.
