Mobile Solution to Blog to Your WordPress Blog
Always on the run? There are not many solutions for the mobile WordPress blogger, but after some searching we managed to find a really awesome WP addition that is extremely mobile friendly and works on virtually all mobile platforms.
WP-WAP allows you to post to your Wordpress blog, with picture uploads, from your mobile phone. All you need to do is download the PHP files and copy the included files and the “wp-images” directory into your Wordpress main directory
Once you copy the files you MUST set password protection. Navigate to your Writing by e-mail pane under Options -> Writing in your admin console. Leave the mail server blank but fill out the username and password. It’s recommended that you shouldn’t use the same login name and password from your Wordpress login since the data is being transmitted in the clear.
To post all you need to do is navigate to http://yourdomain.com/wp-wap.php in the browser of your mobile phone, fill out your login credentials and type away.
