HTML Entitiy Lookup made easy

Every once in awhile, we all find ourselves using Google to identify the correct HTML Entity Character for use on a web page. Fortunately / unfortunately (depending on how you look at things), Google spits out a significant number of resources to look through. Oftentimes, these resources are comprised of [nearly] endless lists which require unnecessary scrolling.

Simplify the process of looking-up HTML entities using the convenient search form (and Dashboard widget) by Left Logic – HTML Entity Character Lookup. Believe me when I say that this tool is by far the best resource to bookmark to reference.

CharacterPal is also a nice Dashboard widget, not only for HTML metacharacters, but also for URL escape codes and keyboard combos.

Why are handy widgets like that always Dashboard widgets? I haven’t found one widget on Yahoo that’s of great use besides the local weather and in all honesty, I can get that info by looking outside.

Guess I’ll be sticking to the site, thanks.
