Download an Play All the iPod Games for Free

Have an iPod but want to TRY some iPod games before you buy them? Zomgstuff has compiled an easy (?) to follow set of instructions on how to fill your iPod with iPod games – well – without paying for them.
First you need to know whether you have a 5G iPod, or a 5.5G iPod. A 5.5G iPod has the SEARCH feature while the 5G does not. Once you figure that out download the games on the right. IF YOU LOAD THE WRONG FIRMWARE YOU MAY RUIN YOUR iPod but it can easily be fixed by applying the CORRECT firmware a few times.
- On your iPod, enable hidden folders and go to: /ipod_control. Create a folder called Games_RO.
- Open each game ZIP. Drag the numbered folder to Games_RO.
- Download iPodWizard 1.2d on the right. Start it up. You may need to right click>run as administrator to get it to work.
- Change the edit mode to “Firmware File”
- Download the proper firmware for your 5G or your 5.5G iPod at the right. Extract it, then load it in iPW.
- Click “Write to iPod”.

I’ve always had trouble with Ipw never could figure it out cause I wanted to mod my ipod

I would really like to find a website that is easy to download games for and ipod, because i have spent hours trying to figure out how to download free games and now im really tired.

i dont get it??? what if i have a 2nd generation nano? will it work for me? its a 4gb. i need step by step instructions? how do i get to hidden folders? im so lost, its not even funny :-(

it works fine – all it does is adds the original firmware to the ipod – i got a 5.5 an i do it all da time – i found sites to download from – but – if u purchased anything – theres a part 2 to doin dis – u gotta first sync it – add to the games folder – ipod wiz shit now – if you werent smart enough to back up your saves – you will avta restart… – dont worry bout it messin up yer ipod – if it does – (only due to ipod wizard malfunctioning like it did to meh) – run in disc mode – format with fat16 – and restore

Where May I Download Games?
Okay i did everything like it was said. I copied the games into the ipod control hidden folder, used the wizard to get the firmware on my ipod 5.5g and after it was done i ejected the ipod and it reset its, Now my problem is i have a very nice modded ipod touch look a like ipod 5.5 but the game i put on doesn’t show anywhere on the ipod expect where i put it which is in the folder of the ipod_control.What i’m i doing wrong,, some help
I keep getting ERROR -1 while attempting to write the 5G firmware to my iPod.
And does the 5.5G have the search feature in the music section only?

I have to say, never tried this, mainly because my iPod is my baby. I clean it four times a day ^^ I’m sad xP. But thank you very much for doing this, this is a fantastic contribution to iPod land.
