I know we have a ton of active duty military personnel reading this site. We salute you!

Word.
Ok, Annon hear this out. Regardless of the political climate (and my personal views) many of the service members in our military turn to serve because they have no other option and the government helps them pay for school and get professional training. Others do it for shear patriotism, there are many reasons.
Regardless, ANYONE who puts everything on the line for people they will never know or meet is a hero and deserves to be recognized. And a simple “Anonymous” comment saying the military sucks is simply disrespectful.
@ Dan: Well said. I have numerous family members across seas and have been there for sometime. No matter how I feel about the war, I support our troops. Its the least I could do because I know there are many of them that are over there that don’t think they should be.
They are in a hostile environment, away from friends and family. And leaving a supportive comment is the VERY least you could do.
…or say nothing
The thing I love about this country is that we let the jerkos show their true spirit so the rest of us know who to avoid.
To the Ladies and Gentlemen serving us, all of us freedom lovers enjoying our long weekend and not stuck in front of a computer feeling sorry for ourselves think you are the greatest! Thank you.
