Smut Sunday: Download Your *OTHER* ‘Tube Videos

We know you love YouTube, and you love to save your YouTube videos even more! But what about saving videos on the other more adult orientated ‘Tubes? We have gotten a bunch of requests not only how to download these videos, but how to play them on your Mac, PC, or iPod.
For this to work you’ll need Firefox and Greasemonkey. In Firefox click on this link and install the script, then everytime you visit xTube, you’ll see a little CSS “Link” box that will allow you to save the raw FLV file.
As for playing the FLV files on your computer we recommend Perian [Free - review] for the Mac, and FLV Player [Free] on Windows.
To convert these FLV’s for your iPod see this tutorial, why you would want these videos on your iPod – is reserved for the comments.
Is the screenshot from a good movie? I suppose watching it was in the interest of good reporting :P
Safari makes it easy to download ANY flash-based video, youtube or other, smut or not. Just hit Apple-Option-A while viewing the video, and you will see something like this:

Then just double-click on the file that is the video, and it will download!
(Hint: the video will be of a relatively large size, eg: a few MB)
Any idea why the install button on “this link” in the article won’t do anything? I’m on a MBP with firefox…but it just sits there. Any ideas?
great stuff … i used to download the flv-files via safari’s STAND. just hold down the Apple-key and click inside the (fully buffered) video. you’ll be given a dialog telling you to copy the linked file to disk …. and that’s it ^^
Add Youporn.com to the list, with the logo that strikes an uncanny resemblance to a certain google owned video site ;)
Can the script be changed to use with totallynsfw.com?
