It was introduced in the version 7 line of Opera, released in Jan 2003. The first browser released under the name "Firefox" came out in Feb 2004. Even it's predecessor "Firebird" didn't make an appearance until May 2003. Please check your facts in the future. @ANON

Ctrl-Tab changes to the next tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab to the previous. Works like Alt-Tab for for switching between windows in well....Windows. My tests don't restore closed tabs.
