FogScreen one-ups the rest of the field

Advertisements on billboards, buses, packaging, park benches… So redundant and the norm that we often have a habit of ignoring ads as we walk through the city. The FogScreen hopes to change all that. How about if the only way to exit a venue was to walk through an advertisement? Check out the video to see what I’m talking about – a video ad played on little water particles that fall to the ground creating the illusion of a physical screen. [via]

  1. Okay, “first time in the world that images have been projected onto air,” is probably a bit of a stretch.

This is pretty cool though. Too bad they have to use it for ads. Kind of reminds me of Jeep’s water-drop sign that they were showing off at car shows recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2LUz2WVcek

Btw–might want to fix the typo in the title (on —> one).
