Intuit releases a Firefox extension?!
Intuit, generally associated with financial applications / software has an interesting Firefox extension available for download. The extension, known as Thumbstrips, provides Firefox users with a convenient film-strip-like interface to sort through previously visited pages (history).
A Firefox extension that creates a filmstrip of thumbnails – – ThumbStrip, get it? – – so you can see your history, and stop guessing at page names in the history sidebar. You can even share your ThumbStrips!
Take note of the fact that this extension has one of the most, if not the, longest EULA associated with the download. Kind of makes you scratch your head and wonder right? Personally, I think it’s pretty damn cool letting you know what, when, and how long ago you visited a page. Try it out for yourself and let others know if it’s something you think is worth keeping.

I love this extension. Sometimes when trying to find a site previously viewed through the history can be a pain trying to decode the URL. Being able to see a picture of what I’ve browsed is so much easier. Nice find.
Derek – glad you are liking the extension. Let us know if you have any more feedback as you keep using it.
