Touchless Cellphone

Tarati is concept cellphone that may be the first “buttonless” cellphone. To dial digits a users passes their finger through a hole on the keypad.
The designer goes on to say:
This action of dialing alone is a more magical experience and, hence, more indicative of what’s really happening beyond the visible realm…Tarati beckons the user to “touch” someone without physically touching a single key. Its design reflects human connectivity in a less material/mechanical, more sensual, way. Tarati is a subtle device, but ever-so-powerful in its fearlessness
Don’t you love when artists go on their high horses and lecture about the human condition?

…and what is the point of this? I would rather press an actual button than shove my finger in a hole.
Ditto
I’d much rather shove my finger in a hole…
