Whatever anyone thinks of Moore, only an idiot can deny that U.S. has shit health care. Hopefully the movie stirs up a ruckus.

I gotta agree here.Health care in America is a joke. I hope that this movie does get peoples attention one way or another.
I can’t wait to see it, but to quote someone else from another blog “well look at the influence Bowling For Columbine had on the sale of hand-guns”.
I don’t expect much to change re: US healthcare – there’s just too much money and corruption involved.
Moore seems to be more in his element when hes going from his “man of the people” standpoint. I still think Roger and Me was good film, and I also really liked The Big One. His methods are crass and some of the shit he pulls is downright retarded (of course the CEO of a company isn’t going to meet you without having placed a meeting, if he’d have called a few weeks in advance I’m sure he’d have gotten what he wanted). But I think the films stand up in spite of his mildly ridiculous behavior. I’m sure to this end that Sicko will be a success, cause it really takes a jerk of a human being to think that the current health system in this country is without major, and i mean major, flaws.
