Dell Ships Linux: Less for More

This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding. How cute, Dell has finally shipped their highly anticipated Linux machines – with the same price point as their Windows counterparts!
Dell has selected the XPS 410n and Dimension E520n desktops and the Inspiron E1505n notebook to be the Ubuntu flagship computers but in price comparisons (Especially in the E520’s case) owning Windows is significantly cheaper which I find rather suspect. It seems that Dell is keeping the higher price point to either make more profit or to appease Microsoft – or both.
Prices for the E520n desktop and the E1505n notebook are US$599; with the XPS 410n starting at US$899.
This is untrue, simply go to the dell store and see for yourself.
