For anyone making the transition to Gmail as their primary email service, consider checking out gMailContacts.

gMailContacts uploads your E-Mail addresses from Mac OS X Address Book to any gMail account.

The basic version will only upload the primary email address for contacts in your Address Book. A $5 upgrade will allow you to upload all of the contact details – postal address, home, and work numbers.

Worked like a charm first time. I might perform the upgrade simply to support the developer.

Why pay for gMailContacts when Address Book to CSV Exporter does the same thing for free?
