WD has dropped a 5400 RPM 250GB SATA beauty, for laptop luggers. Also sporting 8MB of onboard cache, this perpendicular recording drive has a 12ms read seek time and ultra silent “WhisperDrive” technology to muffle how the drive head seeks information.
Expected to launch with a street price of $199.99
i was trying to figure out why a 250gb drive was news and it quickly came to me that it was a 2.5″ drive but you fail to mention that in your post.
