Sprint Goes Unlimited Flat Rate in More Markets

If you live in San Francisco, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Tampa, or Philadelphia Sprint is offering a $120 plan offers unlimited voice, text, and data use. If the adoption rate is high Sprint plans on expanding the program nationwide.

I’m wondering how many people would bite for a $120 unlimited everything plan? For 2,000 minutes (and free nights and weekends starting at 7) at $79.99 Unlimited texting for $10, and unlimited vision for $15 I would consider making the move to the slightly more expensive plan so I would NEVER need to worry about minutes again. Would you?

    It’s very tempting, especially if it’s 3G and you can tether with a laptop.

    As for me, I’ll wait until competition drives the prices down a bit.

    IGiveup too… if you buy a Treo and get a 4 gig or 8 gig sd card you have 5 times more the capabilities that an iphone would ever have.

    If sprint were to expand their coverage in my area I’d bite, they don’t cripple the phones quite as much as verizon does.
