I still remember our hapless computer teacher in high school banning that domain simply because she didn't like the "sound" of it. And maybe create group searches. e.g. Shop searches would include eBay, Amazon, etc results. Now, that would be AWESOME! This is a bit different though, since it doesn't aggregate the results from various sites -- it just sends you off to one site at a time with a pre-formed query URL. I think the Metacrawler method would be more useful because then I wouldn't have to remember where I saw something before I could search (successfully) for it.
