When sequels are one too many

Is this the first official Rambo 4 trailer? Speaking of which, I recently watched 28 Weeks Later. Although I enjoyed parts of the film, the ending obviously left viewers wondering what the next sequel release would bring. Personally, I think everything should have stopped at 28 Days Later. What’s next? 28 Months Later?

i agree, there are a few movies which i think should not have sequels, National Treasure for one, that movie is great, but there;s no story there to make a sequel with the same cast.
i don;t follow comedy or horror movies, so those cheap sequels aren;t on my radar.

until hollywood starts to get some new ideas, i think we’re stuck with sequels, and remakes for some time now.

let me guess, the next movie is called 28 Months Later?

That has the be the absolutely most violent trailer I have ever seen, and that’s saying alot. Looks like a gore fest.

According to the comments on Digg the leaked John Rambo footage is for distributors (Hence the amount of violence.).
Hopefully John Rambo will be on par with First Blood.

Well, for completely unsequelable movies, I think that the Da Vinci Code tops the list. Imagine one of those, right? Of course, after having seen the sequel to the sequel, I’d say that Spiderman should have stopped at only 2.

At least it isn’t Rambo 4.0.

Am I the only one who thinks that Stallone has not aged well for the Rambo role?

I agree with Adam. Stallone looks like his grandmother (Stallones’, not Adams’) with a bandana. The whole movie looks like a big cliché, but the level of gore looks cool.

    How about “28 Weeks + 28 Days Later”….

28 Months Later is going to suck, but 28 Years Later is going to be awesome!

    28 Months Later… 28 Years Later… 28 Decades Later… 28 Centuries Later… 28 Millennia Later…

Yep, we know the movies have quite a future ahead of them.
