Virgin America has been cleared for takeoff from the US DOT. Normally and airline launching is not something exciting, but here is the interesting part, all Virgin America aircraft are equipped with wireless access points and are broadband-ready. Now that is exciting.

I fly American and JetBlue (although I prefer American), Jet Blue is great because it has DirectTV to help me get my mind off of things, but I have always lusted for internet onboard of a plane. I made a promise no matter what carrier comes out with it first, Ill fly it. Seems that we have a winner!
