Wifi Bus, originally uploaded by 0401.

Is mass transit offering free Wifi access on your morning commute? Drop a comment and let everyone know if your city is running wireless connectivity for passengers on the bus, train, or ferry. Washington’s Sound Transit offers free wireless internet access. The state Ferry system also offers wireless access – at a price. Although public wireless access like that offering on public transportation is convenient, these networks are often overwhelmed resulting in dial-up like speed.

Wi-Fi on public transit in NY?! HA HA HA!!!!!!

We used to have almost 100% Wi-Fi coverage on Manhattan until Verizon killed it to promote their crappy capped EVDO modems.
