US mobile operator Verizon has had a fit of moral outrage and cut sponsorship of a tour featuring R’n'B artist Akon after he dry humped a 15-year-old preacher’s daughter on stage.
Verizon had signed on to pony up for the North American lollop of bequiffed pop strumpet Gwen Stefani’s world tour, where Akon was due on as warm-up act. However, during a concert in Trinidad in April, Akon decided to simulate beserk intercourse on stage with the local girl, invoking the ire of, erm, pretty much everyone.
Personally, I think Akon’s actions crossed the line when it comes to interacting with fans on-stage. I hear R. Kelly laughing in the distance.
I just wish people would stop sponsoring him because all his fucking songs sound the same… I could care less what he does with 15 year old preachers daughters…

Umm… while the video is real, the girl isn’t 15. This is a fake and was already disproven. This was part of a “contest” that Akon was running in which he invited people on stage to see who could act the sluttiest. The girl you see in the video is actually a plant he put in to always win. She’s not 15, and how it got so far that the people at Verizon thought they were doing the right thing is beyond me. Lastly, this is dancehall, if this seems outrageous to you, you need to get out more. You especially need to go to a dancehall club and see how tame this is in comparison.
