This wireless USB hub by Icron has four USB 2.0 sockets that communicate on (the much slower) 802.11g) network. The cost to unwire yourself doesn’t come cheap, it’ll set you back $395.00. For that price I would expect at least 802.11n. Plays nice with Windows and Mac.

    This is one of those technologies that I don’t think is worth touching until the prices come down. For now, I’ll stick with my – much cheaper – alternative bluetooth.

    this isn’t even done right. the correct way to extend usb is with UWB because you don’t lose bandwidth.
