AT&T To Include Ads on Paid Subscribers Emails

In what has to be the most boneheaded decision I have read this week, AT&T has decided that it will include GRAPHICAL ads in all the footer of their DSL subscribers email as reported by an email they sent to their customers. I can hear the torches being lit now.
yep i got this email a few days ago. *super pissed*
You don’t know how mad my mom was last night when she got that email.
Hence is why you don’t use ATT/Yahoo as your email provider.
hmm…I’m glad I DIDN’T subscribe to AT&T DSL like some of my relatives had suggested. For purposes of comparison, I stopped watching TV years ago (except for a few early morning financial broadcasts, as well as the weather) due to the constant bombardment of ads. I wonder if people know that they watch an average of 50 to over 60 commercials per hour of TV. Now, why would I want to pay to watch commercials? AT&T is stupid.
How about this for a campaign. Anyone who is annoyed with the ads Yahoo has placed on our email pages should do the following. DO NOT CLICK ON ANY AD – EVER. Maybe then they will get the idea.
