If people are in the mood for switching they should definitely give Ubuntu 7.04 a try. Live CD download is free and works very well on most machines.
If you don’t like just reboot your machine and go back to windows without any impact on your current install.
If you like it just click install on the desktop folder icon in Ubuntu.

It’s definitely worth 20mins for anybody to try.

Hmm…i’m not at all a Linux person. But that would I guess “expand” my knowledge of various OSs. If all else fails, back to Windoze EXpee I guess…. hummmm….

Does Microsoft offer a deal on Vista for beta testers? I didn’t beta test vista (i use it now though) I did Beta test Office 07 and recieved an invitation to a launch event where i recieved a free license key for office pro 2007.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they offer some sort of deal to vista beta testers.

I submitted about 10 bugs in beta 2 and rc1 and they said users of the vista beta should get a “complimentary” copy but I didn’t get anything, maybe because I’m in the uk? But they said the offer was worldwide.
