Leaked: Halo 3 Gameplay Video and NOBODY’s Impressed

First of all ignore the terrible, horrible miserable background music, but if you look close the graphic qualities of Halo 3 look a lot like Halo 2. I hope for Microsoft sake this is an early beta or something, because this is CLEARLY not pushing the envelope in the graphics dept [via].
beta is the excuse for every demo. hell even demos released like a week before the game, fanboys will defend till they die.
the game will be fun, but is really just Halo 2 in HD. which i dont mind at all. but when running on a 7 year old engine, theres not so much they can do graphics and gameplay wise, other than a spherical sheild, new vehicles, its really just the second half of Halo 2 they forgot to put in Halo 2 on the xbox.
How in the world can you make a graphic judgment based off that video? It’s a YouTube quality video and everything looks like crap on YouTube. Hold your judgments until you see the beta first-hand playing on an HDTV.
graphics and resolution 2 different things.
Don’t make a judgement about a games graphics based on footage you saw on a video service which lowers the quality and resolution. Not to mention the game is in beta. What do you think they have been doing for the past 3 years? Trying their best to give it graphics just like halo 2? It’s posts like this that will make you look like a fool when people see how it really looks in may.
Looks better than what i have seen of halo 2, but maybe not as good as other new games. Also keep in mind that single player campaigns are where the most time is spent on level design and that is probably where most engine enhancements will noticeable.
This, assuming its not a fake, is probably more for testing the multiplayer mechcanics and gameplay not a show off of the game itself.

Even if it is real and the downsizing isn’t ruining the experience in some way, Halo games never really pushed any envelopes in the graphics department. Halo was was ok and Halo 2 was more or less Halo with bump maps and some shiny reflections.
Yeah, I think what was awesome. But why diss the graphics already? It’s a beta.
As a nerd who preordered halo 1/2 along side the original xbox. Halo 2 was pathetic and very imcomplete. Halo 3 just looks plain boring.

Halo is also about the amazing story that goes along with it. Which is added to by the Books you can buy.
Halo is about the amazing multiplayer gameplay on a console. Ever played Halo at a lan party? It gets wild.
stop complain you know halo 3 is going to be good and even if you think it sucks i bet your still going to buy. That was just a demo not the actually game so just wait and see Halo 3 will probably win Game of the year award.
ok first of all it is a beta. secondly the beta is a download not a physical disc you put in the drive so they had to down load it. the download was about 3 gigs. the acctual game is 27 tera. so to down load 27 tera off the internet from x box live would take about…. a week so the game in the beta was not even a taste of what the game has to offer. also halo is using a brand new engine. its going to be the biggest selling game ever.
