All that texting during 3rd period, during lunch, after lunch, final period, and all night while sitting at home finally paid off for thirteen year old Morgan Pozgar.

Thirteen-year-old Morgan Pozgar, of Claysburg, Pennsylvania, was crowned LG National Texting champion on Saturday after she typed “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from “Mary Poppins” in 15 seconds.

“I’m going to go shopping and buy lots of clothes,” the teen said after winning her $25,000 prize from the electronics company LG.

Morgan defeated nearly 200 other competitors at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan to become East Coast champion and then beat West Coast champion Eli Tirosh, 21, of Los Angeles, California.

She estimated that she sends more than 8,000 text messages a month to her friends and family.

8,000?! per month. This little girl just tripped what I normally do in a month. Double what Dan might do, and blew away anyone with arthritic fingers. I can’t imagine the phone bill this girls parents shelled out for before unlimited text messaging packages were released.

265 messages every single day on average?! That is ludicrous, what can she be saying for goodness sake?

  2. Jammie says:

I don’t think she deserves the prize. The phone she was using for the competition had a full qwerty keyboard.

  3. Jerry says:

What the f*** does a 13yr old girl have to say 8000 times per month? Her parents should be using that $$ for the phone bill.

  4. Will says:

not only is her amount of texting ridiculous, i don’t think she deserves a 25 grand. kids need to learn the value of money and she would obviously not learn anything at all by getting more money for wasting money.

  5. Dan says:

The most I could humanly eek out was 5000
