Odd feet found, is this evolution?

Here’s the story behind the feet. Did anyone see the picture above and immediately look down at their own feet to imagine having similarly shaped feet?
Shen Xiaojing, 21, lives in Nong’an County. When she was born, her feet were unusually large. Her right foot is 32 centimetres long and 12 centimetres wide; her left foot is 30 centimetres long and 11 centimetres wide. The big toe of her right foot is as large as a baby’s foot of a baby at 7.5 centimetres long and 4.5 centimetres; her second toe is 9 centimetres long and 3.5 centimetres wide. What is intriguing is that the big toe of her left foot is completely normal, while the other toes are unusually large.For 21 years, all her shoes were made by her mother. Shen Xiaojing is now 170 centimetres tall and has reached the age to marry. However, most young men have been frightened away by her giant feet. Shen has two wishes: to see the world and to get into the Guinness Book of Records.

naaa…. we evolve in to dolphins im pretty sure haha
How is this evolution?
First we need to evolve up some gills!
No, it’s mutation not evolution.
If her children inherit it, it turns out to have a survival advantange and her odd-footed progeny either replace boring-footed homo sapiens or mutate to a point where they can no longer inter-breed with boring-footed home sapiens THEN it will be evolution.
It’s mutation, not evolution. Mutation is one of the processes that produce variation, which evolution can act upon to change species, or create new ones.
I’ve actually seen this before, but not of Chinese, it was an African tribe. Can’t remember the name, and tried Googling for it with no results. :/
Apparently, the entire tribe has this same symptom. Having it now in China is quite surprising…
@KwangErn Liew
Yeah, i remember seeing them too! I think it was on one of those old Ripley’s Believe it…, the ones with Jack Palance. But as I can recall, they had that problem because of intermarriage in the same family, and that at last they were all related cause no one wanted to have relations with them.
Yea!
But then, think about India, they have hardcore intermarriages, nothing is wrong with themn…yet?
