If these aren’t some of the more heart warming geek related pictures on the net, I don’t know what is. View the rest of the photographs on CNET [via]. For more information on the One Laptop Per Child project, check out OLPC Project.

The primary mission of the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) movement is to ensure that every school-aged child in the lesser-developed parts of the world owns their own personal laptop that they can use to learn and to learn about learning.

As a part of this movement the OLPC Foundation maintains a web-based listing of individuals and organizations who are prepared to contribute their services and/or products in support of children in XO laptop programs throughout the world.

I am already planning on help in whatever form I can by contributing directly.
