Verizon Now Has Unlimited Messaging (Text, Pix, and Flix)

Verizon will offer on April 15th unlimited VCast, text, pix, and flix messaging, but it does not look you can simply add it to existing plans. It is rumored that the plans will be $20 more then their un-unlimited counterparts.

Careful Verizon of how you use the word unlimited, you don’t have the best track record with it.

Also, that leaves Cingular / AT&T the only carrier in the US that does not offer an unlimited messaging option (even though Derek swears they do), and honestly that is the only thing holding me back from the carrier.

I think T-Mobile has the best deal when it comes to unlimited text/pix/flix messaging. 14.99/month.

  3. Dan says:

Try $5 a month for my unlimited testing… Now Sprint is $15… Thank goodness for grandfathering!

    Verizon still sucks

  5. Alan Rager says:

Ah Verizon… I found out that without a plan things like MMS (pix/flix) messages were charged thrice: once for the message, once for the data, and once for the airtime to send the data. Wonderful.

  6. Doug says:

cingular just announced they have unlimited texting, but its only mobile to mobile texting. its cheapest is 9.99 a month with 300 texts to other phones besides cingular.

verizon always finds some way to screw you over with your money, i dont think it is as easy as it sounds. I have tmobile and i text all day, free of charge to anybody i want no matter what…no hidden charges within every bill like verizon will most likely do.

  8. Jessi says:

Cingular sucks. They’re going to begin to lose customers fast unless they make their plan better. They’re almost the only network that doesn’t have complete unlimited texting.

  9. Tamae says:

Verizon’s plan is too expencive!! i mean come on… my friend has a plan that charges only $5 for unlimited texting to anyone.

I have verizon as my carrier and i am probably going to switch to t-mobile because there is unlimited texting for $14.99 verizon only has unlimited in texting but they also do have unlimited but you have to be on a voice plane with like 1000 minutes witch cost about $150. verizon can get very expensive. when i bought the plan with 500 text they tried telling me it was unlimited but i looked it up and cought them in that scam. well tell me good deals on texting thanks.
