Tabify Your Computer

This has to be the coolest application I have seen this year (sans Adobe’s new CS suite). Sticky Windows allows you to create a tab from any window. You just drag the window to the edge of the screen and it shrinks down into the tab. You can then click on the tab to get the window back (Kinda like back in the OS 9 days)
Perfect on all levels for me, the ONLY complaint I have is the PINK has to go!
UPDATE: UNEASYreader Alex recommends the application Nubs for Windows machines.

I agree, this app is nice, and very convenient, but really, they should’ve made an option to change the colour as i hate pink too. maybe blue or green

I found Sticky Windows yesterday via MacApper.com, some of my friends said it would be easier to just hide the windows you are working with and it doesn’t even cost anything.
But I personally think it’s a wonderful piece of software that makes it way more easy to Quick access your tabs and keep organized on your desk with many windows for me as an old Windows Veteran. I already don’t want to miss it after the first day of usage.
It’s worth its price.
Btw Dan, nice Wallpaper.
wow… it works just like the task bar… am i missing something here?
But you have to remember I love my OS9 days :P
This is a nice program. I really like the developer, but I am too poor to actually buy the software so I just use the trials. I used this app in its 1.x state and enjoyed it.
This would be fantastic if I could get it for my Windows machine at work, but for my Mac, Expose works fantastic and I don’t see the need for something like this. A quick squeeze of my Mighty Mouse and I just pick the window I want.
Nubs, the Windows alternative: http://shellscape.org/nubs/
@sean
I never thought about mapping it to the mouse….hmmmm… genius!
Alex: Thanks, that will make my life at work much easier!
That is a pretty cool wallpaper, where can I download it?
I think it’s a dumb application. We already have “Minimize” and “Hide” options…
I am interested in trying out Nubs when I get home/
NUBS: It’s buggy whit MSN Messenger
