iTunes Music Store cares, updates "broken" downloads

I admit that I subscribe to a few different series via the iTunes Music Store. I just don’t have the time to catch the originals when they air on the television. Yes, I admit that I could use bittorrent for my needs, but once in awhile, the good side of me says that downloading TV shows is a no-no.

Anyhow, I was suprised to receive a few emails from the iTunes Music Store yesterday concerning previously downloaded & watched episodes. One of which was an episode from Heroes.

Thank you for downloading “Company Man” from Heroes, Season 1. The item you received had a minor, yet noticeable, quality issue. To remedy this problem, we placed a corrected copy of “Company Man” in your download queue. To begin downloading the new copy, click this link:

Judging by the email, it looks like iTunes does listen when customers complain about video and audio quality. Although I admit that I never noticed anything wrong with the episode(s) that were mentioned as being reported to have quality issues, I do have one gripe with video downloads. From time-to-time, episodes that are made availablef or download are often mis-matched resolution-wise. Has anyone else noticed this? Some episodes looking as though they would fit just right on your standard non-widescreen boobtube while others look to be formatted for a widescreen?
