TrimSpa to Release TiVo Proof Commercial

To do that they are developing a top secret commercial that will display before-and-after photos of everyday people that will stay on your television screen no matter how many times you might hit the fast-forward button on your TiVo remote.
Although they do not go into any details on how they plan to achieve this, I can only imagine that they are embedding these pictures every fraction or so of a second so that is invisible to the eye at normal speed, but when the TiVo fast forwards TrimSpa timed these secret still pictures to display on the frames that the TiVo doesn’t skip in a fast forward.
Leave it to a slimy diet pill company to find Tivo kryptonite. This does not bode well.
I hate them.
I wish people would quit calling these slo-mo ads TiVo proof. Companies are just throwing that term out there because they know people will blog about it and give them free press. This isn’t even TiVo proof, it’s even less TiVo proof then the 30 second spots. Sure if you see the ad online, you know to slo mo it, if you want to see some crappy diet ad, but if you have TiVo and aren’t already aware of the embeded ad, then how are they tivo proofing when you fast forward right past their ad and didn’t even know it was there? This is just link baiting.
Yep because now a days most DVRs skip 30 seconds in advance, and it isnt a smooth fast forward either, its just a jump to it and get me there type deal.
