GoDaddy hit with DDOS attack

The last two days have been really tough for .com titan (and superbowl ad extraordinaire) GoDaddy. Earlier today GoDaddy’s services (hosting and email) were interrupted while being slammed with “significant” traffic identified as a DDOS attack.

The attack comes on the heels of GoDaddy’s PR goof of regarding DST server updates updates. GoDaddy (who is based in Arizona which DOES NOT participate is daylight savings) didn’t know its status if it was or was not installing any patches on their hardware.

    I love GoDaddy so much. I literally just bought three new domains and renewed two others, all with privacy (for free), for under $40 with a coupon.
