The Second Revision PS3: Less for More?

Sony is axing the Emotion Engine chip from the PS3 forcing the expensive space heater next gen console to emulate a PS2 through a software-based method – which causes severe playback problems.
Cost cutting measure? You bet it, BUT should Sony already be deleteing features from a console that is not selling well, hampering its performance?

I work at Brand B electronics store and according to Jack Tretton we have 42000 dollars worth of PS3’s at our store right now. man if only he’d own up to that.. I’d be rich!
