I thought parallel's said that multiple core support as one of the things that they were saying was up and coming. I have to be honest though, after using Visual Studio 2005 via parallels on my mbp c2d, it is so much speedier than my windows box at work. I can only imagine that if I'm able to dedicate both cores to parallels that it will scream. i just wonder how osx will work if i'm using both cores for windows in parallels. anyway, i think if parallels gets the quick snapshot feature and of course the 3d accelleration support that it will take a lot to overtake them in the mac virtualization space.

I wanted to try this latest beta release with Vista but try as I might, I couldn't get the damn thing to boot off of the Vista disk. Jumped through various loops hoping to get it to work and it just doesn't. The only real benefit of VMWare that I see over Parallels is support for multiple cores. Unless I'm mistaken? Does Parallels provide that type of support?
