According to Slashdot Windows Vista isn’t exactly inspiring the masses to run out and buy new computers.

[Computer and component manufacturers say] Vista is not the hotcake that they were hoping for. A linux-centric site has an article that says Vista isn’t meeting expectations? Even though, Vista has sold more copies than any other Windows in the first month? You could argue the reasons, but mew…

I’ve got a copy of Ultimate “Signed Edition” sitting on the shelf, waiting for SP1 to be released.

I don’t know anyone who has Vista.

Slashdot is a linux-centric site. Uneasy Silence is a Mac-centric site. I like Mac’s, they’re nifty. Linux is what you play with when you have no friends to play with.

As far as your “friend thesis” – meh. Fanboy bait.

Yea, you’re righ, I’m sorry. My bad.

  7. Deep Tank says:

Hmmmm… Apparently Vista has outsold XP in a big way and twice as many copies as M$ expected – 20 million in the first 30 days.
