Walking in Japan? Get people to move out of the way

Posted in Stupid by Derek at 1:19 am

Watch as this pedestrian makes his way through heavy foot traffic ringing a bike bell. I wonder if something like this would work in major cities here in the US. I get the feeling people won’t move – only glaring at you in the process.

Haha its like their trained to get the hell out of the way. But I agree… here in the US, people barely budge if you come running screaming you’re on fire.

if someone came up behind me and rang a bike bell I’d move…. but if I looked back and they aren’t on a bike… I’d laugh, give them a compliment on the merit of the idea, then call them a dick.

I love how not nly does the guy on the escalator move, but so does the guy in the store stalking the shelves, two places I havent seen a bike before.
