This oldie but a goodie lets you pop your head under the hood of your PC to fully understand what the heck its doing.

Leave the crystal ball at home! Just download Sysinternals Process Explorer from Microsoft (Yep, Microsoft acquired Sysinternals); just unzip it and run the .exe file. It will then list your PC’s active processes but with better descriptions and organization then the traditional task manager.

The best thing about Process Explorer is it give your super human powers in your computer to kill any process, but understanding that killing processes can cause major system glitches, you can suspend it by right-click on the questionable process to see this option.

    Sweet, this is what i have been looking for for my old windowsXP. But apparently this post is a bit too late. I have reinstalled my XP because of unknown process eaten all my bandwidth :( . Now lets see if this soft can me a super power killing process.
