Stop the burping, save the world

What bastards! Worried that our world may lose its lifesaving protective shield, scientists have developed a pill designed to stop burping.
Cut down on flying, sell the car and recycle your bottles. But if you really want to tackle global warming, you should stop your cow from burping. According to scientific estimates, the methane gas produced by cows is responsible for 4% of greenhouse gas emissions. And now, German scientists have invented a pill to cut bovine burping.
I hope these scientists have taken into account that natural gases not permitted to escape the body from one end will surely find their way out the other.
A good healthy cow will produce up to 280 litres of methane a day…. not through just burping. How ever, methane isn’t actually a large threat to climate change, as it is short lived. As oppsed to things like water vapour, carbondioxide and CFC’s (but thats more to do with the depletion of the Ozone)
