Don’t forget – Audio reminders with Jott
While watching the ScobleShow Podcast, I discovered a local web service known as Jott which was too difficult to pass-up. In its simplest form, Jott provides users with the ability to leave themselves voice notes which can be accessed from your email account. Your audio notes are transcribed and made available for later reference.
No matter where you are – you can Jott instantly. If you’re out and about, just dial 877-568-8486 and say your Jott at the beep. Or send an email to jott@jott.com. Or click on the “New Jott” button at http://jott.com.
One of the most interesting abilities that users can make use of is calling the special Jott number and having their message transcribed and posted to a personal weblog.
For anyone wondering, your voice calls are transcribed by real people. Read through the FAQ (frequently asked questions) for more information on how the service operates. Personally, I think the service is great. Another alternative to something like the Backpack + CellTell combination.
