Umm.. last I checked 1280×720 counts as HD, you know, also known as 720p. Sure, 1080p or 1920×1080 is even BETTER HD, but 720p is HD none the less.
Both beat 640×480 interlaced (480i, what we’ve been using) any day.

Lmao, I’m not following? 720p and 1080p are BOTH set standard for High Definition. I’m sorry if its “not enough” for you, but its HD.
Also, who said anything about paying? This was just a free commercial video. ALL HDTV over the air currently by the major networks is either in 720p or 1080i. And thats free as well.
I bet if this was 1080p, your computer wouldn’t be able to decode it fast enough and/or your monitor doesn’t have enough pixels to display its full size anyway.
