vistacapable.jpg This is what Dell envisions as a Vista “capable” machine. I don’t even see how a machine with those specs are even Windows XP capable. 800Mhz Processor?! Sheesh!

Also got a good chuckle with the “Great For: Booting the Operating System.” Thanks Dell, seriously!

“great for booting the operating system, without running applications or games”

this system would probably be great for a monochrome 13″ monitor which I can see as being

“great for sitting on top of your desk, but never actually being turned on since you can’t do shit with your computer”

Well, Dell hasn’t even gotten off their asses to send out the “Express Upgrade” kits for those of us who ordered machines prior to Vista’s launch. Dell + Vista == Bad

The guy in the middle of that page looks like hes using a Macbook Pro that they Photoshopped the Apple Logo off of. Seems more interested in his Macbook Pro than the 50″ vista in the background. Maybe the vista is stalling while its 800mhz processor is churning away.

You should read this: http://itdiaries.com/2007/02/15/wnidows-vista-what-will-happen/ and a couple of other articles by this guy…
